How would you react if a person of the same sex is showing interest/hitting on you?

EDIT: Ok, now for the twist. What if the person is a friend? A friend that you've known for a long time, and just recently "came out", would you still be friend then? Would your activities together remains the same?

I'd politely explain to them that I don't go that way, and thank them for the complement. I've done this a few times before. It's really no big deal.

It seems to me it's only a big deal to those who are insecure with their sexuality, or are insecure with how others perceive their sexuality.

If it's a co-worker and they're making improper jokes/innuendo/touching/etc., I'd contact HR and file a sexual harrassment complaint if they wouldn't stop when I told them to.

Heck no! What's the difference??? What's the difference??? You have to ask that? There's a HUGE difference.

If it were an unattractive woman, I wouldn't feel disgusted. Heck, I might engage her in conversation. But if she asked me to dance, I'd probably refuse politely.

the difference is that an unattractive girl is still a girl, which is completely different from homosexuality.
