Serious Boot problems in Windows XP

This is so frustrating. I have been running windows XP and all of a sudden sometimes it wont boot even after 10 minutes, other times it takes more than 15 minutes too boot up. I got in safe mode and ran the defrag and there were no problems there. Finally when it booted up I ran a virus scanner just to be sure, no viruses found. Then it happend again, so I went back to a restore point... still it does not boot and if I am lucky enough to find it boot it takes 10-15 minutes. Can anyone please enlighten me and tell me how to fix this ???

Hi,

You say "all of a sudden". Can you remember what you did just before "all of a sudden"? I'm guessing it could be a driver problem.

Cheers,

Andy
