Wow hell of an anime series. I think I got the majority of alotta the crazy stuff presented in the series, but does anybody have any links to episode explanations or anything like that?

About the first 20 or so I found don't actually have the episode explanations, I'll try again though with different search terms. Also, I havent seen Evangelion, but might borrow the boxed set from a friend to watch.

It is an excellent series. Indeed, there are long-winded explanations if you spend enough time with Google...

I'd have to say just considering the series, Lain is weirder, but once you factor in End of Eva, Evangelion definitely gets that extra boost of strangeness.
Both are superb in their own right.

So you like the Japanese schoolgirls with their short short skirts...

i've seen all the episodes. and dont understand it!

anybody summerize?

Save yourself about 12 hours and watch Ghost in the Shell instead. Lain Serial Experiments not only pretty much wholesale lifted the plot of GITS, but also presents a far less interesting and coherent viewing experience.
