Serial Cat Killer in Miami...been going on for months now.

There were similar cat-killing sprees in Alberta and then Ontario in recent years. 🙁 Maybe one sicko is moving eastward like Jack The Ripper hopping from planet to planet in Star Trek.

Indeed. Once he moves on to people, Dexter would be hunting him.

However, Dexter does empathize..sorta..with other confused serial killers. He killed animals himself, when he was young. He also had his own partner/protege' for a bit and tried to dissuade that one kid from moving on.

I read about those at the time. Did they ever find the person(s)?

In reply to the studies on animal abuse -> serial killing/abuser....the basis is many serial killers and those that are cruel to humans have admitted they started with animals as children. Usually bugs and stuff first and then they just kept craving more sentient beings.

You're probably referring to me. I don't hate cats, I hate crazy cat people like yourself. I find them to be the most emotionally irrational people out there. Without laying a finger on a cat I'm able to whip them into a frenzy by speaking negatively about cats. Let's take you for example- you're in thread about cats, you have a cat for your avatar, and you felt the need to call me out as if I'd really do this. Somehow I was still bothering you before I even posted.


To answer your question, no I didn't do this. My screenname is 91TTZ. I've never tortured a cat, nor do I advocate killing them. I've also never lived in Florida, nor did my profile ever say I lived there. But other than that you're spot on.

I often wonder what the correlation is between cat ownership and being a basketcase. I mean the cats themselves are cute. But the owners- man they are one emotionally deranged bunch.

I'm not trolling right now, either. I was called out in the thread by another poster.

how are they deranged? You realize stalking cat owners is in and of itself a pretty deranged type of behavior right...pretty much stereotyping millions of people in the world, likewise.

The cat owners are at fault for the death of their cats. If the owners were not negligent and incompetent in letting the cats out of the house in the first place, none of this would have ever happened.

Just so I understand how it works in your world do you also believe assault victims are at fault just because they were on the streets, rape victims at fault because they are women, theft victims at fault just because they left their car parked outside? Hopefully what you meant was that if a cat owner really wanted to ensure the safety of their cat they would keep it in their house where it would be safest but the only fault here lies squarely with the sick individual(s) that are perpetrating these crimes, not the victims.

QFT + these cats were killed on the OWNER'S property. There is no law to keep cats indoors. While I don't agree with having an outdoor cat today (due in part to things like this story), I am not going to say it's ok to kill another's because they do.

This is where the feral laws get cloudy. If a feral cat is a nuisance (doesn't just mean it crossed your property usually), you can kill it humanely. If that cat is a pet, you cannot.
