I currently have a first generation Raptor and bought a new SATA 300GB Maxtor DM10. I noticed that unlike my Raptor, this new drive only takes SATA power cables. I currently have an Enermax 431W PSU from 2001 and it does not have a SATA port. Do I just need a regular molex-to-SATA adapter, or do I need a new PSU. Is the voltage different for the other plug? Thanks for any help.

just get an adaptor, it will work fine. As far as I can tell there is no diffrence between the adaptors and a PSU with a SATA power plug.
