Will I be able to config 2 Serial ATA hard drives in a Raid 0 config? I have 2 Serial ATA ports on my Asus A7N8X mobo.

Also, interested in where and what?

Thinking about getting a pair for myself, also.

ArborBarber posted This Place to get em on 1 nother thread. Another alternative is to buy the adapters for IDE's which run $20-25. I think the only benefit by running via SATA @ the moment is less CPU usage

I do not have them yet. I was just wondering if I should save up a few pennies to pick up a pair when they do come out.

I would only do it if your current hard drives are not sufficient for your storage needs. I think Serial ATA is nice, but currently no faster that Parallel ATA and probably more expensive to start with.

I've found atacom.com has Seagate Barracuda ATA V 80GB serial ata hard drive in stock for $159.95 now. I called them this afternoon and placed order for two for second days. I will let you know about this new hard drive later.
