Serenity

The member on the Serenity movie forums (before they were taken down) that came up with the winning movie t-shirt design had the user name KLin if I remember right. If you're just seeing the movie now, I take it that wasn't you? 😛

I haven't seen the movie before today, so it wasn't me 😛. I just got the HD-DVD from blockbuster online today.

The series adds much more depth to the movie. It's sad to watch the movie and realize that it basically contains the plot elements that would have been stretched out over several seasons if FOX hadn't cancelled the show. :|

If you can settle for regular DVD, the series is available for only $20.00 now.

Those Left Behind covers the year long gap between the show's end and the movie.

Watch the TV seris Firefly on DVD & then watch the movie again ... its a whole different experience.

Yeah, I was torn about the movie... actually pissed that it was a dead end road for Firefly.

But at the same time I was very happy to see more of that series in whatever form it came in.

Just started rewatching the series earlier tonight actually. Jaynestown is the best episode if i do say so myself.

"The hero of Canton, the man they call... MEEEEEEEE!"

Forgot to mention, there is an Easter Egg on the DVD set where Adam Baldwin sings the song "Hero of Canton" whilst wearing the hat he received from his mother in the episode "The Message."

Remember that we never did get to find out what the guys with the blue hands really did to her. Two by two... hands of blue ... brrrrrrrrr!

Fox really sucks for dropping that show!

Meh, I enjoyed the movie.

The whole idea of the failed terra-forming that created the Reavers left a lot of questions unanswered too ... I really hope they continue the story, at least in more movies.
