what does Serendipity mean?

Main Entry: ser·en·dip·i·ty
Function: noun
Etymology: from its possession by the heroes of the Persian fairy tale The Three Princes of Serendip
: the faculty or phenomenon of finding valuable or agreeable things not sought for

shorter and easier to grasp definitions:
a fortunate accident
a lucky coincidence

btw, Serendipity restaurant(or maybe it's cafe) is pretty good. that's where they shot the restaurant scene early in the movie.

it's ok... good for desserts. and there's always a wait at the door.

john cusack rocks... i liked when harry met sally as well

All I'm saying is, it doesn't have to be so that if you liked GPB, you don't have to turn in your man card, thas' all.

Same goes for High Fidelity. Even the original book's author alludes that it was written for men.

(Obviously I liked High Fidelity and Grosse Point Blank)

That's what I was going to say. Same thing with Chasing Amy. :D

As far as "I need my balls re-attached" flicks goes, I'll take one for the team and admit to liking "Titanic". Besides, Kate Winslet is pretty hot in it. ;)

Which "team" are you talking about? Sure you aren't batting for the other side?

So much for trying to reinforce my claim to heterosexuality by making a comment about Kate Winslet.

Nah, it's a Cusack movie so you get a pass. If you had said something like Shakespeare in Love then there might be a problem.
