But, but the President said Sequestration would never happen? Right. He also blames Congress but in fact he and his staff actively engaged in the initial push to have sequestration.

I do think Congress will delay this in some fashion but the damage isn't going to be pretty for anyone; especially the American populous.

Congress will still have it's health care and pensions for life though...all is good.

Spending cuts are good. Need more of them, right?

The private sector is being overcrowded by spending of the government and will advance forward once these cuts kick in (or so has been spouted over and over...sometimes on these very forums).

Republicans don't play ball.. sequestration will actually give big cuts if they don't play ball again. They don't play ball again and then complain that the cuts are too much..makes sense. Blame the president!

You care about the debt? Gut the military by 4/5. Make the corporate tax rate a flat 20%, no deductions. None of this 0% taxes for 1/3 of the fortune 500. Remove all bush tax cuts and raise taxes a bit as well. Done.

Don't want to pay more taxes? Don't allow 2 endless wars/occupations next time.

He should not be addressed as the president but the pos lied and is corrupted to serve special interests

LMFAO!!!! How ironic, I am in the middle of debate with you over people saying Happy Holidays instead of using what you feel is the real name of Christmas yet you think that the President of the United States should not be addressed by his title.

Hate to break it to you but no matter what you will have to reform Federal Healthcare spending or more specifically medicare and medicaid. You can gut all you want of the rest but Federal Healthcare spending is completely out of control and is going to eat us alive (more than it already is).

There is a big difference though, Because the happy holidays is offensive to many Christians and part of an effort to secularize the day

Why would congress delay this when they passed it unanimously, and house passed it 414-2? To what end?

Democrats do not want sequestration because their favorite things might be cut. That probably goes for both sides. What does sequestration have to do with happy holidays? Could you not read the topic?
