Sennheiser HD201 Headphones for $17.99 and qualifies for super saver shipping. Lowest price found elsewhere is about $24 or so. Sennheisers don't often disappoint and this one is no different...good reviews

These seem great, but I'm still waiting for a noise-cancelling model, one in which a frequency counteracts in order to cancel noise.

got mine from amazon today, awesome pair of full sized headphones although lacking in the bass IMO. These attenuate noise pretty well by themselves. great deal!

If you're talking about Amazon Prime, this isn't any good since it ships from J&R music, unless I missed it and Amazon themselves were selling this item. I have prime and I was thinking about getting this myself.

My son needs some new headphones for his Sony CD MP3 Walkman, will these fit the headphone plugin for these? Thanks in advance. I know it says 3.5mm, but I have no idea if that is the standard size on most personal portable cd players.

yeah these definatley will fit into his mp3 player, 3.5mm is the norm. It also comes with a 1/4" jack adapter, although i have no need for it. For Amazon's SuperSaver Shipping you need "over $25 of eligible Amazon.com products in your Shopping Cart".

Also, if the product is sold from an Amazon affiliate like J&R, there is no free Super Saver shipping. It doesn't appear that Amazon is selling this headphone. Only others like DynaDirect, beach Audio, etc.

Absolutely AWFUL headset.

Dollar store has better quality headsets.
Bass is terrible. Even in low setting, it sounds line a tin can.
Worse $17.99 I have spent this year.

what are your headphones connected to? i had mine hooked up to my monitor, which hooked up to my soundcard and the sound was terrible. The bass was all distorted at high volumes and the sound was crap. But wen i had it directly plugged into the sound card the sound was perfect with nice punchy bass. That might not be your problem if your using it on a mp3 player or something...
