I don't know, I tried to like them. I listened to them for about an hour tonight, and I don't like them. I'm not really that picky either, but to me these buds don't sound as full as the
$16 Skull Candy Ink'd 2 set that I have.
It's weird, because they both have the same frequency response, here are the specs on the ink'd:
Speaker Diameter: 11mm
Magnet Type: NdFeB
Frequency Response: 20-20k Hz
Impedance: 16 ohms
Max Input Power: 100mW
Cable Type: TPE, Nylon Braided
Cable Length: 1.3m
Plug Type: 3.5mm Gold Plated
I can't find detailed info (other than frequency response) on the cx150's, so I don't know why they sound so different, but to me it's a big difference. They sound very metallic and there are a lot of highs, and not much low frequencies at all, both during music and movies. The Skull Candy's have this thing called "Attacking Bass", so maybe that is the boost that makes the difference.
The cx150's are a lot more comfortable though, and quite a bit smaller. Not a waste of money though, my wife loves them because they are so comfortable. I guess I'll stick with the SC's until I can find something better. Oh well, at least I didn't dump $60 to find out I didn't like them.
