Send it back

Don't you just love the crap they send you with your light bill, gas bill etc. I heard of a great idea about what to do with it. Send it back with your payment. 😀

I just send the unfilled out form back using the provided envelope that they have already paid the postage on.

Was that before or after Maddox posted the idea on his website?

That is my idea too. Let them deal with it.

For those unwanted credit card junk mail offers. Take the prepaid envelope and stuff it with pizza coupons your not using, and other stuff.

THat's what I do when I get Credit Card offers in the mail. I take the terms pages and put them in the return envelope and send it back. Of course you could use it to send tires or bricks (use google) but I'm not that adventurous.

Actually I read it in the paper.

I don't have enough time anymore for all of this mess. I'm signed up for paperless billing everywhere. The only thing not paperless is my rent, which I pay with a check and that's it.

Between registering my address with the USPS against all that crap and no paper bills, I barely get anything in my mail anymore. 🙂

There is nothing to be gained in doing that. Some kid in the mail room throws the junk mail away and doesn't give it a second thought.

Ah, but they have to PAY for those postage paid envelopes...and the postage on them...using them to send back junk, COSTS THEM money...obviously, you don't do this if YOU have to pay postage...

do you have any idea what the postage budget is for companies like that? 1000 of you guys with nothing better to do doing this is not even a drop in a bucket.

I keep anything that has my name on it, and I send the crap that comes fromone company to another company using there envelope and postage.

They pay by weight I believe, not by piece?
