Come on. They are arguing over 2% of the total. It' not like they are arguing over spending this total or not.

also why can't you see that spending money in America during an economic crisis isn't pork. It's not like the money is being shipped out to some swiss bank to sit, it is being used to help us with tangible things.

*yawn* It's much more than 2%. Those lists were the low hanging pork. Much of the rest is not "stimulus" as well- it's just plain domestic spending that should be voted on using normal appropriations.

I don't have a problem with a "stimulus" bill. I have a problem with the blatant spending bill full of crap that would never make it through the normal appropriations process that you libs are calling "stimulus".

Most of it in the United States. Haliburton and such are US companies.
