<< proof that only the good die young >>

Proof that bleeding heart liberals are hypocrites.

The man is down, and they're still kicking him. :disgust:

I never liked the guy either, but now is not the time.

You have got to take your hat off to this guy. This man is still getting it done at 98. I know he's retiring after this term, but maybe its time for him to retire now. Man I hope I live and am able to do like him at that age. Hope he's okay.

I heard about it on News at Noon here, I doubt it was anything too serious, since he was waving and smiling when he went to the hospital. But there will probally be a press statement later today or tomarrow from the hospital or his office about it.

Sorry to hit a man when he's down, but his diaper probably filled up & threw him off balance...

Spoke to a couple of people from SC over the years, he's become an embaressment to them, & should have stepped down years ago...

OK, my bad. But still, now is not the time. It's in poor taste to kick a guy while he's down, no matter how much you dislike him.

Cold hearted bastards. WTF is wrong with you? Just because someone disagree doesn't mean you have to be cruel. I don't like Dick Gephardt, I think he's a two-faced selfish sunuvabitch, but I sure as heck care whether he lives or not.

Funny. If he's such an embarassment, then why has he been re-elected ump-teenth billion times?

They kept electing him because he's so frigging powerful, he won't step down & bless another Republican candidate & they want to elect another Republican...

They're embarrassed because they can't find an opposition candidate who can beat a 98 y.o. man.... i'd be embarrassed too if i were them.

And the people celebrating and poking fun of him, just goes to show that you're not "mean evil SOB's", you're just a**holes.

darthmango,

Actually, it was 1948.

A few years back, there were accusations of "impropriety" for an alleged incident in an elevator with Patty Murray. Now, obviously his eyesight is shot, but you gotta hand it to a guy in his 90's who's still playing grab ass.:)

I don't have a wife or cats, and I don't want to work past 50 or so.

I don't really like Thurmond. I think he should have retired a long time ago. Maybe this will convince him to retire. While I admire his ability to be incredibly stubborn, I think he's too old to make competent decisions regarding our country.
