I heard about it on News at Noon here, I doubt it was anything too serious, since he was waving and smiling when he went to the hospital. But there will probally be a press statement later today or tomarrow from the hospital or his office about it.

Actually, it was 1948.

A few years back, there were accusations of "impropriety" for an alleged incident in an elevator with Patty Murray. Now, obviously his eyesight is shot, but you gotta hand it to a guy in his 90's who's still playing grab ass.

I don't really like Thurmond. I think he should have retired a long time ago. Maybe this will convince him to retire. While I admire his ability to be incredibly stubborn, I think he's too old to make competent decisions regarding our country.
