I'm amazed at some people's reactions. "Senator Kennedy has a brain tumor."...."haha, fuck him! I hate that asshole." There are a lot of people I don't like, or who have political ideologies different from mine, but I wouldn't laugh at them if they got a brain tumor. What kind of sick fucks are you?

You do realize he killed someone, right?

you do realize that he didn't do it intentionally, right?

You do know that the coroner determined later that she probably was alive in the car for a long time and did not die from drowning, but lack of oxygen.

As to his current condition, I'm sorry to hear it.
Still the man himself is an ass.

Anyone that can do what he did then parade himself around like he is innocent....
OJ of the 70's.

yeah, i do. how does that mean what he did was a purposeful and malicious act?

He didn't call for help while she was still in the car.
It doesn't get anymore malicious than that.

not everyone reacts the same way under certain circumstances. some people go blank and fail to hero up.

either way, he never meant to kill her. guaranteed he didn't figure "lemme just go ahead and kill my brother's campaign advisor for no real good reason."

And some people get everyone they can that has influence to cover their ass.

No good reason ?
It was reported by several people that he wanted her to be more than a campaign manager.

If it was his sister in the car do you think he would have acted the same way ?

If you remove the rights defined in the Bill of Rights guess what? Thats less freedoms!
You got hit real bad with the idiot stick didnt you?
Mmm, irony!
Maybe if you'd gone to school in Massachusetts, you'd have learned the word "fewer".
STFU

Ah, obviously it was writed well enough for you to understand what I was meaning.

Point being, when all you can muster is "Oh gee willigers, you kant spell!" well, thats not a very good argument.

Which means you really have no clue what the fuck is going on in this thread, even if you do have a strong grasp of the Engrish language.

Rule Number 1 of calling people stupid is to try to be literate when doing so.

On hearing this unfortunate news, there were a lot of reactions.

Pres. Bush said he would keep Sen. Kennedy in his prayers.
Sen. Obama said he was in shock and wished him and his family well.
Gov. Schwarzenegger simply replied "IT'S NOT A TUMOR!"

Oh man, I'm going to hell.

You do realize he killed someone, right?

You realize Laura Bush did, too, right?

I don't know the whole story behind that but I would guess she went to the authorities right away, unlike Kennedy. Oh, let's not forget that there's a good chance he was having an affair with the woman, and something tells me Laura Bush wasn't with the person she accidentally killed.

The guy should have never gotten elected in the first place, and it sickens me that anyone would defend his actions in the Chappaquiddick incident. Even if the original crash was an accident, not going for help until the person is surely dead is at least manslaughter IMO.

I'm not defending his actions with Chappaquiddick. I wasn't there. It definitely sounds fishy (no pun intended). My point was, I think it's pretty sick to wish illness and probable death on someone else because you disagree with their policies. Admit it, it's because you think he's a lousy senator that you're happy at his misfortune, nothing else. I mentioned Laura Bush to point out that when it's her negligence (she ran a stop sign) that causes another innocent person's death, people say "oh well, it's in the past" and, in fact, even empathize and feel sorry for her.

I just don't think it's nice to wish death on people who you disagree with.

Laura Bush was 17 at the time, and I'm willing to bet it ruined a good portion of her life. Kennedy, on the other hand, didn't seem to care, and pretty much made it seem like he wanted it to happen.

Do I want him to die? No, but it'd be nice if this forces him out of public service entirely. Our representatives should be good people, and while I know most of them aren't, on both sides of the aisle, he's among the worse of the worst.

I don't want to turn this into a P&N debate, but do people generally dislike him because of his policies or the scandals?

Just quickly glancing over a wiki page about him, seems he has some good policies.

he has. it's just that stupid hoosiers like specops and spidey can't admit it because fox news tells them to hate him.

No, see I hate him becuase he wants to raise minimum wage (Government controlling the economy), strip gun rights (Undermine the Bill of Rights), changed immigration, well.....Shit, I hate the fuck cause hes a true blue Democrat. More tax, more spend, less freedoms.

I aint sayin I WANT the guy to have a brain tumor, but I sure as hell wont lose any sleep over the matter either.

HAHA

i don't even want to point out how stupid this post is. i'm just going to quote what you said so others can read it on the next page 🙂

As stupid as it may be, you know its true and his voting record will support what I've said.
So please do qoute it. 🙂

EDIT
I dont even have to look at his voting record, shit i could use wiki as a reference.
Unless of course you deny my claims he wanted to raise minimum wage, or he worked to change immigrations laws or he didnt work to restrict firearm ownership.......

i never denied that (the thing about raising minimum wage and wanting reform on certain firearms). i was laughing because you think somehow democrats, NOT republicans, have a platform based on less freedoms.

guantanamo comes to mind... wiretapping... constitutional rights like due process and trial by jury gone... forcing religion down everyone's throats rather than respecting everyone's right to believe whatever and however they want... yadda yadda yadda. those are ACTUAL restrictions on our rights... a ban on assault rifles for citizens is not.

actually, i don't think fascism was big back then... i think public discourse, intelligent discussions, and romanticism were big around 200 years ago...

Please list the Americans that are in Guantanamo or that were denied due process.
Please list any and all bills or laws forcing you to attend church every Sunday.

And a ban an semi automatic rifles is a restriction on my freedoms. You can say its not but it damn sure is. ANY time the government comes out and says "You cant....." its a restriction on your freedoms. Period. End of story. Now whether you agree with it or not is another matter, but it doesnt change the fact it is a restriction.

God damnit guys! Can't you, for once, put aside your fvcking political views and just see the fact that this is a man that has a brain tumor? SAY, if the report didn't mention is was Sen. Kennedy, I'd assume we'd be feeling sorry for the man. But because idiots like you can't put his stance on politics, your bashing him! OF ALL THINGS, politics is the LAST issue that should matter at times like this. If you can't throw the politics aside to feel sorry for him, well then you make me sick.

If it wasnt for his politics we wouldnt even know of the guy

Hmm, I always thought his incoherent ramblings were the result of booze. He must have had that tumor for a while.

wow, are you stupid enough to actually think there's a list of names of americans who've been taken to interrogation camps and denied their rights for years? not only that, but according to international law, detainees (whether american or not) are granted certain rights, which we are denying.

i also never said anything about being forced to go to church. i guess they don't teach reading comprehension while you're shucking corn out in nebraska schools.

sorry, banning something excessive is not a restriction of your freedom to defend yourself and pursue land, liberty, and happiness. you can still defend yourself and your possessions (i.e. your wife, your truck, your mounted dear heads, your garth brooks albums, etc.) without the use of an ak47 or a minigun.

certain limitations to maintain a certain level of order are inherent in societies where there's a government... or did they just kinda skip over that page in your 90-paged, unpublished social studies textbook?

Hmmm. Your claims are standing on thin ice......You cant name ONE American whos had his right to due process denied or that is Guanny bay?

2nd Amendment....
"Shall not be infringed".
What part of that sentence do you not understand?

certain limitations to maintain a certain level of order are inherent in societies where there's a government... or did they just kinda skip over that page in your 90-paged, unpublished social studies textbook?

And what limitations are needed? What is more dangerous, unchecked promotion of homosexuality or owning an semiautomatic firearm?

Hey clean renewable energy is cool, just not in my back yard!

Still I wish him and his family well during this difficult time.

You do realize that after reading the FACTS of the incident, it can be concluded that he got away with MURDER and used his family name and connections to get away with it.

So yes, FUCK HIM!

Um... so if he can't continue his duties as senator, will someone else pick up the steam on this bill? Please?

http://www.govtrack.us/congres...=summary&bill=s110-359

Two of the co-sponsors are a bit busy fighting each other for the presidency...

That's all nice (being to lock in consolidation rates during school would have been nice)....but could any senator start a bill where debt relief that actually relives debt from private school loans? That would benefit me alot🙁
