Didn't the Supreme Court recently decide there is no such thing as bribery unless it comes from the Bribery region of France?

(explicit written in blood exchange of money for official favors)

I hope the guy and his wife go to jail but it would be hilarious if he used the Supreme courts defense and got off.

Once again, feeding those trophy wives causes the little head to make decisions you will probably regret.

We gotta get this guy out of politics honestly. Just too much smoke around him, even if the allegations are false.

He likely won't resign but he's not going to survive his next primary if they even let him on the ballot under "D". A decently funded even modestly popular challenger will trounce him.

The NJ Dem machine has turned against him so it's basically over.

I'm thinking he goes to prison. He denies it ala Trump, but man, have they got the goods on him!

This all the fake news. I have heard many people say. Important people. This is political prosecution. This is deep state interference /s

Yup. That's what he's saying.

I have to give him props for going for gold bars. So much classier than having foreign governments rent rooms in your hotel.
So, what's the answer? How much is a kilo of gold worth in dollars today? I know, I can figure it out, but that's what I was wondering while watching the news tonight.

Answer: 1 gm gold is worth $61.66.

I kilo is worth $61,660.

Yeah. I expect Clarence Thomas to chime in any moment now about how it's perfectly A-OK.

I mean, who doesn't have millionaire or billionaire friends who show them with gold bars and bricks of cash?

And what's wrong with finding some cash in your clothes in the closet? Haven't we all found a crisp $5 bill in our winter coats? Sure, this was a few dollars more, but same same. Or digging through the couch cushions for a few coins to pay for pizza? Maybe not gold coins, but coins nevertheless.

He’s a criminal and he should go to prison.

You will note that despite him being a Democrat I don’t play the game where I pretend I don’t know he’s a criminal because admitting it means I’m mean to someone on my political sports team.

I wonder if there’s a lesson to be learned here.

Corrupt politicians should be executed...doesn't matter what the party affiliation might be...We trust them with some of the most...sacred jobs in our country...and they lie, cheat, and steal to enrich themselves at our expense? Git a rope.

You mean you don't want to play the game of "he hasn't been convicted and we should wait for the justice system to play out before forming any opinions"?

I was going to say he can share a cell with Blagojevich but Trump commuted him

Republicans love corrupt people no matter the party. Can you say Santos?

The indictment accuses Menendez and his wife of accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars of bribes in exchange for using the senator's power and influence to seek to protect and enrich the businessman.
But that same "payment" from foreign business would have been perfectly legit if Menendez had a direct family member become "employed" for the SAME influence?
Just wondering why Menendez and not Biden. It's the same thing, just done a slightly different way.

This is not his first bribery charge either. I suspect however despite all the evidence he will get a slap on the wrist or be let off again by a sympathetic juror....just like the first time he was charged with bribe taking.

They need to empanel Republicans as jurors to make sure he gets a fair trial.

If you are employed everything is transparent. If Hunter Biden is a lawyer and does legal work for a company in a foreign country that is allowed.

If that same company just gives Hunter money and demands he get his father to effect policy we have a problem

That’s what makes Jared Kuschner so shady. He worked in the White House and had direct effect on policy. Trump first visit to Saudi Arabia, standing by while Khashoggi was assassinated. 2B Jared got from the Saudis, etc

If your complaint Hunter did no real work for them, I don’t have the answer to that. If that is your complaint you may want to start with Boards of Directors of all these corporations that pay people who do no real work. Boards often hire them because of their fame and influence. They only have to show up a few times a year to meetings and pocket 200K

The main difference is there is zero evidence of any policy favors done by Joe Biden in exchange for money to Hunter Biden.

It’s wild that you’ve convinced yourself of a totally made up set of facts.

Wow dude

What did Joe Biden do in return for payments to Hunter? If you have evidence by all means bring it forward. Since the Republicans certainly haven’t disclosed any.
