We've been killing the unborn forever across the world. No one is looking back with regret. I'm not in favor of abortion but don't paint it as some great tragedy to write books about when actual people on this planet here right now are dying instead of embryos.

I think it's more likely that we'll look back and be in horror of putting children in cages and turning away refugees. We already have a precedent for that btw when we look at how we responded to refugee crises in world war 2.
 
Sorry but there should be a stipulation that to run as a Democrat that any leak thereafter regarding sexual impropriety of any kind that turns out to be proven should result in immediate life-long expulsion from the party. Wow man that was pretty intense. While I don't necessarily agree with your opinion I can respect it and respect you for taking a strong stance.

As far as the OP story goes though I think the guy should resign probably and then get his life together. Him and his wife need to go to counseling and get this worked out between them if they can.

I don't think he should resign. Some limited personal issues between him and his wife have nothing to do with his ability to be a good senator. I mean 50% of marriages end up in divorce. I don't think in this day and age it means anything and for all we know his wife has been texting guys too .

Its one thing to have a marital snafu or one divorce. It's another to have 3 divorces and have 10 or so accounts of additional affairs outside the current wife.

You just think that during an election season the guy would be able to button things up. Geez.
