Dammit NC Democrats, can you field a candidate capable of not having extramarital affairs? Maybe I’m oldschool, but I remember a time when political careers were finished when a scandal like this broke.

This hurts—I volunteered for Cunningham’s campaign during the primary (pre-COVID). I donated too. He’s staying in the race, but I think he’s pretty much finished at this point. Can’t stand Tillis—seems we’ll be stuck with him for 6 more. Ughhhh.
 
According to FiveThirtyEight, that race was one of the top four closest in the country. So there was at least a 1 in 3 chance of getting Tillis back anyway.
 
I too donated some money to his campaign. What a f---ing idiot. All you had to do was keep your dick in your pants for a few months and you couldn't. Deserves to lose honestly.

My younger self was deeply conservative. Now, if it's legal and doesn't interfere with your job, dgaf. Conservatives only care to make Liberals feel ashamed, but conservatives don't actually care.

Given the category 5 news hurricane in progress this is the time to dump any news you're looking to get rid of. I'm skeptical it impacts his race any. Also people really dislike Tillis who is now COVID positive and probably can't capitalize on this much.

Setting aside the irony of this in the age of the pornstar presidency, this almost sounds too lame to be true. Might be some desperate honey in that pot, just saying.
 
Lol watching republicans leap on this like it's a barely floating deck chair from the Titanic. Any claims to morality here were long since shot and it's going to be a real uphill battle to get voters to care if they even hear about it.

Doubt it. He was flirting with a Dem campaign strategist. Based on the messages alone, I’m almost certain they’ve known each other for a long time (“wow can’t believe your son is 8 now!”) and have had intimate relations.

Now as for how a right wing blog staffed by former Breitbart reporters found out (and got screenshots from her phone) I’ll bet there are some shens involved.

I’m going to get the shit stomped out of me for saying this.
I lean towards elected folks who have high sex drives.
Appears many of the best Presidents and really good Senators had a certain type of sex drive.
Something about poon hounds makes good leaders.

To be clear this isn’t saying they should be trolling malls looking for young women or doing creepy wide stance things at the urinal. Those are totally different.

Those lines weren’t from him—they were from Ms. Guzman Todd (I’m going off the screenshots—blue text bubbles are sender and it appears to come from her phone, since his name is up top.) She had all the best pick up lines in their convo.

Also, note how at some point “Cal Cunningham” became “Cal Cunningham” in her contacts lol!!! She was ‘hot’ for him.

He even chooses the right woman, provided this wasn’t a setup.

edit: I saw her picture. He picked a good one, his wife is a good choice too.
