Got a question for DABANSHEE. If he doesn't answer it here, somebody ask him in a new topic. I don't care enough one way or the other to start a whole new topic about it.

The question is, how is Australia doing with their new gun laws. I could be mistaken, but I heard they all had to turn in their guns. True? How's it going crime-wise?

That's a load of crap and I strongly suspect you know it.

The fact that so many Americans own guns is startling. We need to get rid of "The Right to Bear Arms"

Do you people know why they have that amendment? Because we were fighting all the time with the British and after it was over a lot of people hunted, and there were many more wars to come.

Kids didn't take the guns and go to school and kill classmates, thats not what that ammendment is for .

NakaNaka,

Yes, I DO know why we have the Second Amendment. From your statements, it's painfully obvious that you do not. You really need to study the writings of our Founding Fathers.

Typing is right about one thing. This bill will go nowhere with the current makeup of Congress. As a matter of fact, it is DOA. BUT, that makeup could easily change if we don't remain vigilant in protecting our rights.

chess9,

Since you are the genesis of the ridiculous assertion, it's up to you to "pony up".

Get a grip. That bill is going nowhere even if every Republican up for election or re-election loses. The pro gun forces have way too much power still. Maybe in 20 years things will be different. Uh, oh yeah, the bullets will be bigger-and that's probably all. :p

Sorry boys. I'm watching the Olympics. I'm not into doing your research. The last time I posted the numbers, including the 5000+ children killed by guns each year, you guys yawned. I'm sure the parents of those dead kids are yawning. :(

You guys are just troglodytes. Throwbacks. Knuckle draggers!

Other than that you usually are ok to be around. j/k :p

He, he. Very funny. And sooo accurate! But, hey, I'm sure you wouldn't give us bogus numbers 'cause you honor the truth like it was a sacrament. Right?

Yes, and car crashes are a high cause of deaths too.

If we can take away guns, then we can't take away cars from crappy $|-|I+ drivers? I mean, it's not like having cars is a right!

Cars have a greater chance of being banned than guns. No constitutional support for car drivers. It's a privilege! :p

I posted a few interesting lines in the CJ Hunter thread about nandralone in pig meat, but this stupid gun thread gets all the bright lights. Sheesh! Will we ever stop babbling on about guns? I'm swearing off gun threads. *&)*(&^^*)_)*^&^^**%$#@

Phew!

Most of which are gangbangers blowing each other away. That number is so bogus I'm surprised anyone still uses it.

Kinda looks similiar to an admission of constitutional support for gun ownership. :)

An argument can be fashioned that the Second Amendment protects the right to arm bare anandtechers. But the Supremes haven't sung that tune yet, and until the 9 Fat Boys and Girls sing, you are only blowing smoke up our bare *sses. But, uh, a little lower please.... :p :p

If all the right wing gun nuts would just take their medication, they wouldn't suffer these delusional moments. :p :p
