Whatever happened to just yelling at people and flipping them the bird? That 18-year-old girl wasn't going to get into a physical fight with you. You should have just told her off.

Oh I know that it wouldn't have led to a fight. Normally I'd have told her off, but as storm rider asked, she was kinda hot, so I was torn between telling her off and asking her out.....it didn't quite compute and threw me off at first.

Go ahead and write me my ticket storm rider.

And I will admit, making up part of the story about the old guy was wrong. I'll probably have a talk with my son on that one tomorrow. I joke about the do as Dad says and not as he does part, but I'm well aware of the fact that kids do as they see and not so much as what they're told.

It wasn't my finest hour of setting a good example for my son, but in the long run I'm not worried. 99% of the time I set a good example. Like I said no one is perfect....except for a few members here apparently.

The thing is I'm not worried about admiting my flaws here (I could be lying and making threads about my 10" dick, trophy gf, $100,000/yr cush job and my Lotus Elise). If someone wants to judge me off a thread overall as a parent then they have their own issues.

Try weights...maybe the women will fear you then.

I'm not judging you as a parent. I just thought that if the cops had arrived in time, your false testimony could have aggravated the girl's case and she might have had to pay 'a little more' for her crime. But yeah, don't fuck someone's trip more than necessary in the future. Spare the embellishments and just go with the truth. ;)

During one of my every morning stops at the coffee shop someone had parked a new Benz across both handicapped spots. The car had no handicapped plates or hang tag, and unfortunately there were no spots anywhere close. So, I just said screw it and parked right behind the Benz, blocking it in - and went in to get coffee.

Sure enough on my way in a guy came rushing out to the Benz. He stopped and stared at my car for a good ten seconds, then came rushing back in the Bucks and yelled "WHO PARKED THEIR PIECE OF SH&T BMW BEHIND MY BENZ?" I smiled and said "I Did." He was really furious at this point and it got worse when I told him he had no problem making me wait for a spot so he shouldn't mind waiting himself. Someone watching called the police when he started threatening to drag me out and make me move my car. Long and short, I was warned to call police next time and he was written up for TWO parking in a disabled spot violations and told not to return to that Bucks again.

10/10 :thumbsup;

you have no idea what type of situation she was is so gj for possibly making her day even crappier than it was before

from your side of the story it seems like she was wrong but you could have handled it in a more civil manner

It is? If things like this bother him that much, he'll have a stroke by the time he's 40.
it would bother me just the same. i cannot stand able bodied people who park in handicapped parking spots.

and the people that have strokes are the ones who keep their stress bottled up. ;)

so call the police. why be a jackass/idiot while you are with your kid?

You should have parked behind her so she couldn't get out.

I know people that will do that and just sit there until the cops arrive so you get your rightful ticket.

The big picture - you did the right thing.

The smaller picture - you wasted your time, you're an adult, you can't let any jerk0ff that crosses your way during the day piss you off like that, you're just causing yourself pointless aggravation, since unless there would be a law allowing you to shot assholes, you won't really be able to get rid of them.
What's more important is that your son should learn to do the exactly opposite of what you did, he should learn to be indeferent to assholes, he'll enjoy his days much better that way.

Conclusion - Next time, if you're wasting your time anyway, make it count, I once got double-parked in a parking lot by a careless asshole, I've waited for like 20 minutes, before the guy that was in front of me pulled out (not the one illegally blocking me), I was all worked up by then and before I took off I also left a little reminder to the jerk blocking me. I took the air out of his wheels (yes, all four), and then I took off. I'm sure he had lost more than 20 minutes resolving his new situation. If you block someone like this because you REALLY have to, at least leave a note and/or a phone #, won't make it right, but you might get away with that.

Exactly...good job.

It's not about whether it bothers you or not, it's about doing the right thing...ignoring it is not the right thing.

Handicap parking is there for a reason...and that is not so lazy fvcks like her can save themselves 10 steps getting to the door.

It's for people with legitimate handicaps that NEED to save those steps, you know like the elderly. Or for the war vets who sacrificed their physical well being when serving this country.

And don't forget all the people born with a birth defect that limits their mobility.

THAT is who the handicap parking spaces are for.

Hell my 88yr old grandmother has a handi-cap sticker that she refuses to use because there are people that need those places more than her, not that she drives much these days....but the point is even someone who legitimately deserves to use those spots does not.

Don't want to be called on the carpet like a little bitch for parking somewhere you are not meant to park?

Don't park in a handicap space unless you are handicapped.

OP, that's pretty funny. I love the comment on the note.

Then again, you said she was hot so I have to mark you down on that.
