I'm not ordering another SSD, as I've already used a different V.me discount to take $20 off the Seagate 600 at Tigerdirect. That V.me discount was indeed processed at checkout, so for this V.me discount, you have some explaining to do.

Also, since 4myrebates handles the processing, I've had almost all success(8 or more) at obtaining the rebate, sans one in which prompted me to make sure to apply adhesive to the back of the upc code so I don't get burned for losing UPC codes I actually sent out.

EDIT: just attempted a V.me checkout option. The $30 discount was granted. While concerns of Tigerdirect not honoring rebates has legitimate ground, it does not give you the right to concoct bullshit no matter how benevolent your intentions are.

It's nice NE price-matched it, but yes, the discounts do get applied at checkout. You have to use V.me, and then the discounted price will be shown just before confirming the order.

Also the reason why I dislike TD so much is that they are listed as one of shop runner's partner sites, yet they offer shop runner shipping to only like 10% of their products. In addition to that, unlike newegg, they will not refund you for the expedited cost of shipping if certain items that are not shop runner eligible.

I see. I apologize if I came across as vitriolic in my post. Good to know about that shoprunner stuff for those not in the know.
