Selling used computer memory

I have a small quantity of out-of-date computer memory (11 modules of various size/age). Most of the buyers of used ram on the web appear to be looking for large volumes and don't seem to focus on individuals. Is there any market for individuals? I don't want to throw it away and would prefer to get whatever the market value is, even if small, but with my quantity it doesn't seem worth it to list on eBay.

What do other folks here do with their 'left-over' ram?

Unfortunately for most purposes it's pretty useless. I don't know what kinds you're talking about but I have sticks of ddr and ddr2 around 256mb-1gb which aren't worth the time waiting to find a buyer for.

I put mine in a pile ... maybe someday the pile will get large enough to where the gold fingers have enough value to where I can sell them for metal price.

You could try selling them on craigslist/ebay/etc. but chances are you'll only get a few $ if lucky.
Think average joes wanting to update their old dells/gateways.

The modules I have are just standard DDR (256 MB/PC 2100), DDR2 (256 MB/PC2-4200, 512 MB/PC2-6400 & 1 GB/800 MHz).

Re the gold Youtube video, sounds like an excellent way to turn your house into a Superfund site...!
