isnt the official sony stance on this, we are not making any more units until next year, january? but its strange because i see more and more units available. hmmm.....its a gamble.
 
Too bad you didn't stick it on a certain very popular internet auction site starting with "e" and ending in "bay" b4 it was released (pre-ordered). I saw one sold on there for 15000. That is just sick, unless you're the seller.

It used to be banned a few months ago along with Paypal

I saw new PSX2's sitting on the shelf at a local Best Buy. They were also in stock at walmart.com a few days ago. It's not that great of a system anyway.
 
That one for 15,000 was totally bogus, I think the buyer big on all the really high ones, 0 rating, new user, just wanted to get attention I think.

I don't think the PS2 is as rare as people believe now... I remember reading back that they're shipping 10,000 units per week. My local Toys R Us and Wallyworld had PS2 units just last Thursday.
