because of my work i have the ability to ship things for free
now im selling an mp3 player and im wondering if i should offer free shipping and get more people interested and to get them bidding on it. or should i charge 15 bucks or so and just keep the extra profit?
what way do you think i would get more money?

nothing wrong with being greedy some times.

I tend to avoid auctions where the seller is blatantly overcharging for shipping, but *shrug*

Do what other people do Charge 20 bucks for ship.
Some people don't look at shipping. Better if you have to type in your zip to find out the price.

I usually figure an amount of money I would be happy to make, and I say, if the auction ends at XX.XX dollars the shipping is free, which is 10-15 more than I originally wanted. Get the ebay nubs all the time.

If you charge 100% over actual shipping cost, you will get cancer, in the ass.

So your Employer lets you use their shipping account for free or are you just putting it on the company bill?
