Selling old stuff in FS/T forum?

I have a closet full of old computer equipment ranging from cables and wires to old CD-RW drives and video cards. 95% of the stuff is between 3-6 years old. Does anyone think it be worth my time to try and sell any of it in the FS/T forum? Has anyone had any luck selling old stuff like that in the forum before?

If you're going to unload the stuff at bargain prices go w/ FS/FT, if you want more profit go w/ ebay IMO 🙂

I could care less about making a profit, I'd rather make room in the closet 🙂

A lot of the stuff would end up probably sell for less than what it'll cost to ship it!

Then FS/FT is the way to go, your fellow AT members will appreciate it 🙂

That is what reserve price is for.

Sure, a lot of older PC H/W is used to build low-cost Linux boxes to serve as a firewall PC.

There is this really cool invention. It's called a trash can.

You can also try Craig's List. But be prepared to deal with morons.
I'd rather stick with people who know what they're getting and how to use it. For the non-computer related stuff I might go with them since it tends to be too heavy to ship economically.

See, I'd rather sell it to someone cheaply if they can reuse it somehow. It's not doing me any good sitting in my closet, nor would it do anyone any good if I throw it in the trash.

Probably not a bad thing to sell here. I could use a cheap cd-rw for a system I'm building.

I know I have at least 2 of those that I saw last night while cleaning out the closet. I guess I'll put some things up and see how it goes.
