That was hilarious but really stupid to post online.... Her divorce lawyer is going to use that as evidence to destroy him in court.

Evidence of what? I doubt anything he listed there is false or can be proven false.

I assume you haven't seen your friends go through a divorce. Divorce has nothing to do with proving something is false. A judge will eat him up all day for shit like that.

My good friend was smart and recorded all his conversations during the divorce with his now ex-wife. He wasn't trying to screw her over but he felt she didn't deserve much in the divorce(she cheated on him in less than a year of marriage). He never had to use the recording in court because as soon as she knew he had her, she decided to play nice. He could have been a real prick and left her with nothing but he didn't.

Divorce court is already slanted against men, it is best to have your ducks in a row. This guy is making a mistake.

OP, loved your ad. I hope is was a joke. If not, sorry that you are about to lose a lot.

Unfortunately, I agree with Codewiz ... the court system is definitely slanted against men in these types of cases.

Good luck ...

Yeah OP, I hope everything goes alright... /sarcasm.

Many of these types of private sales ads are bogus in nature, in that the seller is making up an interesting story to draw more attention to the item he or she is selling. It's quite common now... Put up item for sale online, create interesting background story, draw lots of attention because of background story, profit!

I know I can add "Haunted" to anything on ebay and get top dollar for it!

It could be used as evidence of past verbal abuse. If he was willing to post that online, I can only imagine what he's been saying to her face.

That's a ridiculous argument. People getting divorced aren't typically doing so because they have nice things to say about one another.

That said, I would bet the whole divorce angle is made up for this ad.
