Selling guns?

How the hell do I sell guns locally? Craigslist won't let you list them for some reason. I don't want to deal with laws of selling them to someone in another state. Also don't want to deal with packaging them for shipping.

Any gun enthusiasts here know of any classified sites like craigslist for guns?

I have:

S&W AR15, WASR2 AK74, Ruger P95D 9mm

If I sell in pennsylvania, I don't need to do any paperwork to sell the two rifles, and just need to take the handgun to an FFL dealer to transfer it.

We have a company called "iwanna" that published a catalog every week with peoples used stuff they want to sell. You can pick them up in any convenience store.

http://www.gunbroker.com/

Also check local gun shops. See if they sell on consignment.

Check for local gun shows. Take your guns with you. Walk around with a sign. A lot of people will only do person to person sales so there is no 'paper trail' for the goberment.

Well, you could sell them to a pawn shop or maybe you could sell them at a gun show. I don't know all the laws but that might be a good idea.

I was going to recommend GunBroker but that's more like eBay for guns and would probably require you to ship them. On the other hand you might be able to list your guns as local-only.

List them on pafoa.org. Specify you'll do face-to-face (FTF) only at a FFL and specify how many miles you're willing to drive to meet someone. State how many rounds approximately have been fired through each one. Include pictures.

Ill give ya 500 for all 3 😀

glocktalk ar15.com thehighroad.org ETC

all great places, bought my glock on ar15.com

Where do you list them on PAFOA? In the discussion forum?

I had good luck selling one on a local motorcycle forum (I ride also)

I had him make me a copy of his drivers license and wrote out a bill of sale just in case the cops come knocking asking why my gun was used in some crime or something.

Why not sell them across state lines? The buyer sends funds whichever way you want, and a signed copy of the FFL that you must mail item to. When you ship to the FFL, they do all the paperwork. The buyer usually pays the FFL something for the transfer. Never ship to any address other than what's on the FFL. Pretty easy.

I'd rather try to sell local rather than go through the hassle of packaging/shipping them and going through and FFL.

I can sell to someone in PA without any legal transfer at all. All they have to do is show up, give me cash, and I give them the gun. I'll make a copy of their DL and make a bill of sale though so I have something to show the cops if they show up telling me there was a crime committed with my gun.

looks like 250 which is a steal

Yeah, I only paid like $300 for it, and I have since removed the stock (and it broke in the process). I never got around to putting a folding stock on it.

The ammo is russian crap. In all I think I might have paid $450 for the gun and ammo.
