what's the best economical way of mailing/shipping a gift certificate worth ~two hundred?

certified mail? priority mail with insurance?

economical? 37 cent stamp and an envelope. Wrap it in paper so they can't see through it.

best economical, not just economical :) meaning cheapest way of sending so that i don't have to worry about problems (lost in mail, guy claims it never arrived, etc)

yep use a Priority Mail flate rate envelope...3.95 and then print your label online with DC for free...under $4 :p

If you're not sending it very far, FedEx may be cheaper than USPS and you can even get step-by-step tracking from FedEx.
