Selling a Fur Coat...

A friend went through a divorce and as a part of her "cleansing", she gave us a fur coat. It's only two years old, appraised by Neeman Marcus as 4000.00

It's a nice coat, but we live in California, so the weather out here isn't exactly "cold". To be honest, when I look at the damn thing, I think "new front door".


Has anyone ever sold used fur? Where do I go?

i dont think i know anyone out here with fur either.

edit: my neighbor looks like he's wearing a sweater when he takes off his shirt though. yuck!

eBay. Won't get much for it though.

Folks who can afford to spend $4000 on a coat will just buy a new one.

You could try finding a store that would take it on consignment. If you find a good store, you might might get more for it than ebay or craigslist.
