interesting...though if *my* parent was already in the "office chair business" it's not that hard for me to imagine coming up with this idea myself

Business professor = moron

15 - 20 years from now he could be retired!

that would be 34-39

In reality he could be retired now, and pay someone to run his company.

And with the established suppliers of their parent's business and the long-term customers of their parent's business.

Sure you would. Oddly enough, there are many people that have become successful on nothing but hard work and determination, and there are also many heirs that do nothing with their fortunes. Capital is only part of the equation.

This kid did not start with nothing :) he maybe a millionaire, but his parents, imho, are the ones really pulling the strings... they probably gave him a million dollars and used him to promote the business..

yea but even still, how many kids would have had the drive to do what he did?

The video didn't discuss the drive. Did he spend 3 days creating a website and then let Daddy do the rest? Did they share equally? Did daddy just set him up and the kid did all the hard work? It wasn't specified at all in the video. So I cannot comment on it. I also can't be amazed by it either.

i agree that this kid is special in the sense that he had the drive to make this work. but without his dad's connections and his dad getting his business started, his business would never have taken off, let alone survived

but kudos to him. cuz most kids with rich parents like that would be too busy partying to be successful at a young age like him

lol. I was thinking the same thing. I'm usually the first one to point out that class movement isn't that commonplace, even in America.

I still don't think that takes anything away from this kid. There are plenty of kids with rich parents that can barely tie their shoes at 19.
