I wish we could take a poll:

How many of us regularly browse Google Base looking for things to buy?

How many of us regularly browse eBay looking for things to buy?


My own experience is: I've posted items on Google Base and never got a single hit for days. I think for a fee, Google can list your item on their search engine, but then that won't be free anymore.

There are a few posts in this thread stating that they have sent Google checkout invoices themselves directly to the buyer.
Officially, you cannot use Google checkout on ebay based on ebay rules.
 
It is nice to see so many people are getting fed up with egay and payscam. The way they have been raising prices it will cost sellers 35% of their profit to sell on egay in another decade. I have been wishing for someone like google to come along and open up some competition against them for the last 8 years now. Maybe before I die I will see it happen and have a smile on my face.
