Ok so I'm a 25 year old guy still living with his family, still call my parents mom and daddy though I'm 1/2 Chinese so that may explain a bit. Despite being 1/2 Chinese I look 100% Caucasian. Still a virgin, never dated. I'm overweight for my height but not massively so, 240lbs and 6'2". I currently work as an assistant manager at a local 7-11 making 12 an hour, 12.75 soon. I have part of a university education, computing science and math, but dropped out of university many times due to depression and emotional problems like anxiety, am on meds now that have helped a lot, so my education was really hurt by that. Before that I had a strait 4.0 GPA coming out of high school. I have $20,000 in savings in the bank from my job in GICs at the moment and saving more. I plan on going back to school when things seem right. I am happy for the most part where I am for now though. For hobbies I like video games and home theatre, travelling, and computing. I but together a 2000 stereo system for our home theatre system which has a PS3, Xbox 360 and soon Wii, although the 2K was just for the receiver and speakers.

So would you call that self pwnage or a walk in the park for ATOT? None of the above is false though I know people will call shens, they are wrong.

Nope never got into the MMORPG thing. I am a retro gamer though and plan to own all the older original systems and am building my own emulation arcade cabinet.

I am actually happy with where I am right now. Not in the long run but for now.

I wouldn't say I am bored but I know in the long run I wouldn't be satisfied which is why I said I'm going to go back to school eventually.

Man, first things first. Man up and quit looking for approval. If you are happy and your life works for you, then that is all that matters. I lived a very similar life to yours, eerily similar, in fact. Actually if I was part Asian I would be convinced we were long lost brothers.

The thing is, people will move through their lives at different paces, and for some people, you just gotta stew for a while. I spent two years doing literally nothing, and one day it all kind of just snapped, and started falling together. I quit being so negative about my own place in life, and everything else began to look better.

You listed all the negatives. The only positive you listed was that you've got some money in the bank. A buddy of mine got engaged last fall. After congratulating him, he said to me "You know, sometimes I wish I could have a life like you. No mortgage, no bills, no kids, no responsibility. If you wanted to move to Australia tomorrow, you could."

See the flip-side of your situation. Your "successful" friends are probably asking themselves the same question. "I've got a big mortgage bill, my kids are keeping me up all night, I don't have sex anymore, I hate my job...Am I owning myself." The grass is pretty much always going to be greener. I've seen posts like this by you before and I think you're one of these people that will be constantly looking for other people to validate your existence. Don't. One of the greatest things about being in a hole is being able to look out. You see this mountain of wasted life, when really you should be seeing only potential. Some people could be envious. You get to start planning your life with $20k in the bank and 7 or 8 years of life and wisdom more than most people do when they hit the "what am I gonna do with my life" stage. Chin up, man. Don't let life beat you down. Go attack it.

Go back to school, none of what you are doing right now will be of any importance in the future, use your current job to support your educational expenses and try not to touch your savings much, get the degree, get a post-graduate job, thank your parents for their kindness and reward them for it on the long run, move out get a house. Ignore this BULLSHIT advice about escrts and what other bullcrap you are hearing about getting laid, it will only act as a distraction, the last thing that should be on your mind is sex and relationships!
Get a house, the degree then the good job afterwards girls will start falling from trees like apples (true girls want a man that has a stable life and is ready to start a family), find a decent girl that would care for you and would be willing to be your honored wife and the proud mother of your kids ( also preferably a virgin like you). Settle down and enjoy life.

Look, put plain and simply: If you're happy where you are, then there's nothing wrong. If you're not happy where your life has gone, then there's a problem, and the only one who can fix it is YOU. Since you're posting this thread I'm guessing your self confidence isn't 100% and you probably want something to be different. Quit your crappy job, go take out some student loans, and get yourself back in college. Everything you ever wanted is out there - take it, it's YOURS!
