It's that time of year! Mine is due by the end of tomorrow, so I started on it earlier than usual this year (today). Nothing much more to say, except that I HATE doing these stupid things.
Pretty much. Rate every category at a 5 or whatever is the highest. When asked if you honestly believe that to be true, stick to your guns. Yes, yes I do, I deserve the highest raise possible or a promotion at the least.
It makes the resource feel like they have a say in the process. When you and I both know raises and reviews are forced to a bell curve. Actively forced to fit a bell curve by HR.
I just try to make the case for putting me in the right side of the bell curve and not the middle or left.
