Selective Service System mistakenly sent notices to more than 14,000 Pennsylvania men born between 1893 and 1897, ordering them to register for the nation's military draft and warning that failure to do so is "punishable by a fine and imprisonment."

...The men are almost certainly all dead, given that the youngest would be turning 117 this year. Families of those men who received the notices can simply ignore them...

No word yet on whether, or not, feminist groups are suing because no dead women received the Selective Service Registration Notice...

Hey, if they can vote for Democrats, then by golly they should have a chance at being drafted just like the rest of us.

I bet a lot of folks learned a bit about their geneology (or the geneology of the family that used to live in their house).

Now we know where GOP voters come from.

Growing up in Chicago, we always assumed that the 1960 election was stolen for President Kennedy.

Since both Mayor Daley and Momo Giancana claimed to have stolen the election, we were never sure that that credit should go to the Cook County Democratic Party or to the Mob.

As I've gotten older though, I've become less concerned with differentiating between public sector organized crime and private sector organized crime...
