Just starting to get prelim info on new system... I've never really kept up with SLI and Crossfire but I'm thinking I want this capability on next rig. I'm thinking a 1366 Mobo with an ATI card... Want option to do Nvidia though...

Do I have to pick a specific Mobo for sLI or Crossfire, or are their mobo that do both?

A large amount of x58 boards do both, definitely check first though... My p6t SE (shitty edition) only does crossfire, but thats fine with me cuz its against my religion to use multiple GPU setups

A lot of the cheaper boards only do one of the other though, because it costs like 5 bucks or something to be SLI/xfire certified

Looks like this one support both:

ASRock X58

Based on what folks are saying this seems like a good board. Yes?

My goal is to be able to get 4GHz to 4.5GHz on water...
