He is making far more now than he did when his show was on TV. The other actors on Seinfeld were paid very high salaries in exchange for not accepting residuals. All syndication residuals go to Seinfeld and Larry David That show is probably one of the most expensive shows to syndicate and they collect them all. I would be Jerry is pulling in nearly $100m a year in syndication.

They still get residuals but only SAG-AFTRA residuals and a cut of DVD sales. Seinfeld and Larry David get creator residuals on top of the rest.

Kinda like getting money for singing the music vs singing and writing it.

So no one from that show needs to work again... just some more than others. :)

Are you kidding? He bought the world's largest collection of classic Porsches. He has a larger collection than the Porsche museum in Germany!

If they were ever sold they would have appreciated, assuming that they are rare, and even if they aren't they are now celebrity cars and worth more for being ex-seinfeld cars.

I am sure shahrukh khan would be worth a lot more if indian currency is somehow adjusted to usd. Cost of movie tickets in costliest theatres is about 6-10 dollars. And cheapest ones cost 2-3 dollars. Then again cost of making a movie in India is nothing as compared to that in Hollywood.

Seinfeld is by far the richest, however, Julia Louis-Dreyfus's family's net worth is about 3x as much, in fact I think they're worth more then Oprah.

As for Tyler Perry, well, that's why God made our palms so form-fitting for our foreheads.

He has several Porsche 356's worth over $1 million each, a '73 RS (which he actually drove on Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee) worth at least $250000, and is rumored to have one of the ultra-rare 917 race cars worth over $3 million.

Yes they are successful, if hey weren't, more wouldn't be made. I don't like his Madea movies but they do well with the black audience obviously.

They do pretty well. And, they receive criticism that Perry is basically in black face. His characters are so stereotypical and should be offensive. But, people love them, I guess.

I actually don't mind him in other movies, so long as he didn't write or direct it. He was good in Gone Girl, for instance.

Tyler Perry owns a 200,000 square foot studio in Atlanta. It is in this studio where movies, plays and his television series are created.

His plays make a ton of money and usually sell out. The residual income from the dvd sales are thriving as well.

I am shocked Tyler Perry is in the top ten, much less worth more than Bill Crosby.

In today's money. Back in the early 90s, Cosby was the wealthiest, most powerful celebrity in the business. Even with Seinfeld's money today, I doubt anyone had the influence that Cosby once held. Dude actually put in a competitive bid to buy NBC.

Still, it's somewhat shocking that Perry is worth that much. Dude has a completely trapped audience (think of Christian music industry), but I was surprised that he pulls in that much. But when you consider that he owns nearly everything that comes out of his own studio...then yeah.

I've never been a fan of Seinfeld. The show had its funny moments but it's highly overrated IMO. His stand up isn't my cup of tea either. He's a bit of a one trick pony.

I have no idea who Shah Rukh Khan is.

As far as the rest of the list, I'd say Bill Cosby, Clint Eastwood, Tom Hanks, and Jack Nicholson actually deserve it.

That website is a linkbait website. They have literally 10s of thousands of people on there. Those are all estimates and most of those figures are not accurate.

How on earth would they know the net worth for so many people?

Those net worth websites drive me insane because so many people quote them yet they're just rough/quick estimates.

And now that collection is probably worth more than he paid for it.

All those guys on that list are pretty old.

I thought these people would be worth at least over a billion. A million bucks doesn't go far these days. That buys you about half a house in LA. A decent car costs almost half a million these days, and a night out to dinner usually runs around 25k with drinks included, so I don't get how they can only have a few hundred million. These people are supposed to be the richest of the rich super stars.

The only thing Bill Cosby deserves is to be in jail for raping people!
