I received a Seiko Chronograph watch for my B-Day and it doesn't have instructions with it. I don't know how to adjust the metal band. It's just a bit too big.

I searched all over Seiko's site and cannot find instructions.

Any ideas?

Agreed. What they do is take the band apart and remove some of the links, and then put it back together. You can probably get it done for free if you ask the gift giver for the name/location of the store and the receipt, since sizing is part of the service when you buy a new watch.

On my Seiko you can remove a link by sticking a little screw driver, or something similar in the little hole on the bottom side of the link. If you look at the band from the side, each of the links has an outer part and inner part. The inner part will slide out. It took me a while to get it to slide out but eventually i got it out. Its a little difficult to describe but if you can get one apart and see how it works it all makes sense and it becomes pretty easy.
