Okay, so those Segways are up for auction on Amazon.com and the third one made has reached $150,000.00 with a month of bidding left to go.
Are people nuts?

First of all, why would the third one made be more expensive than the first one (currently at $86,000) but I thought these were going to retail for something like 3 grand. I'm all for early-adoption of new stuff, but 150k for a fancy scooter?

There'll always be some rich person that must have the first one of something. But I sill think $150k is a big rediculous.

150,000 sounds like a company who wants to figure out how they work so they can make their own 50 dollar model and sell it at walmart. I would never by a bulky ass seguy scooter thing even if it was 50 bux...i think its ugly and impracticle. Im fine with my razor scooter at most.

I can't believe the hype that was surrounding this kid's toy before it was released.
