As expected Sega announced they will no longer be making Sports games for the gamecube due to low sales. EA has claimed they will also only release the "big" ones on the cube from now on. So if your a big sports gamer the cube isnt the system to have.

What a misleading title...

But meh. I don't think Nintendo Gamecube owners are huge sports games fans in the first place.

metroid, zelda, mario, reasons enough to own the cube. I agree about the controller, it works really well for nintendo's games, but for other stuff it doesn't.

You should change the title. They're not pulling all cube support just sports games. EA was considering doing the same, but I think they might reconsider now. Anyways, as long as sega keeps making Monkeyball games for the cube everyone is happy :D

Its really sad when the games you GC-ers look forward to are all made by the same company....

The best console game developer ever you mean? (Yes, Nintendo; name someone better)

And there's much more coming out for GC from 3rd parties.

Wont even get into the age thing...if you're game console dictates your age then i feel sorry for ya.

Metroid Prime, Eternal Darkness, Resident Evil 0 through 4, TimeSplitters 2, Killer 7 (soon), Product Number 3 (soon), Zelda, "Metroid Prime 2" (eventually), etc.. this argument is so 6 years ago.

We've got enough to keep busy without Sega sports games..
Nascar Thunder 2003
NCAA Football 2003
Beach Spikers
SSX Tricky
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4
Metroid Prime
Animal Crossing (best game of ALL time, except maybe Civilization 2)
Mario Sunshine
Super Monkeyball
Super Smash Brothers Melee
Eternal Darkness
Godzilla:DAMM
Pikmin
Lord of the Rings:TT
Starfox Adventures
Star Wars Rogue Leader
Star Wars Bounty Hunter
Timesplitters 2

oh, and Legend of Zelda soon !

I think that's enough good games to justifiy spending $99 on a console.

EA is scalling back their gc support as well.
Scaling back yes, but it's not like the big name titles like Madden won't be coming out.

Why is that? For third-party most of those are available on all systems. Theres no reason for choosing one console over another, except for it's exclusive games. And for me, Nintendo makes the best exclusive games out there in the market. :) And it sure doesn't seem to be just me, as can be seen by the scores on Nintendo made games.

Kiddie? Yup. But I sure love them still. Games you can pick up and learn fast and have fun playing in a party.

Besides, X-Box owners are for horny immature husbands who aren't getting any. After all its for "mature" people as can be seen by great games like DOAXBV.

Last comment was for the idiots... I think you can tell who they are.

I had a great time playing Halo and I wish Nintendo would be agressive like Microsoft, especially in the online market.

Bitch, please.

Gamecube has the best exclusive titles. They also have Red Faction II, Splinter Cell, and many other cross platform titles for people a little more mature. That said, I use my Gamecube for exclusives and the Xbox for xbox titles and cross platform games, except when the Gamecube title is much cheaper.
