Howdy,

I'm trying to find reviews of all teh different All In One printer/fax/copier units that are out there these days. I've seen a couple sites that compare just the models by the same manufacturer. What I'm trying to find is a site that compares different units from within the same Manuf. but also across different ones (HP vs Canon vs Lexmark, etc).

I don't know if Consumer Reports has something like this but I'm not a member there. But if anyoen has seen any sites that compare all of these, please let me know.

Thanks.

The only one I've seen was Consumer Reports. In every review they've done, CR basically said all-in-ones had roughly average quality on all its parts. Thus if you want high quality then you must purchase the pieces separately.

C|Net.com offers the compare feature.

I would stick with either HP or Brother.

We own an HP v40 which I like a lot except I wish I had purchased a model with a flatbed (to make copies/scanning documents easier). It's great having a printer, fax, scanner and copier in your house though.

I have the Lexmark X5150. It's very nice, but doesn't have a built-in fax.

I have an HP GX85 (I think that's the model). I love it.

Also try epinions. I trust consumer reviews more than professional reviews.
