Yup, already on my way. WU downloaded and start of crunching has been confirmed. The only thing that bothers me is how quiet the CLI is 🙂

Its kind of un-nerving not-knowing if its running OK, then again the -verbose option is just too much... 😉

I'm a member of DSLR team discovery or united devices team, I'm thinking about leaving them and coming over here cuz the moderators there are complete a-holes...

Eveyone seems cool in here/like everyone gets along. I may leave them, give me some reasons I should come join you guys!
 
You should come join us because I relied so fast.🙂 Seriously we have had trouble with mods here also but that has since past and things are fine. In general our Distrivbuted computing forum has looser rules than other forums here because we are such a close community and like to here anything that interests our members (as long as they mark it OT).

Which project would you be interested in joining for our team? We do have a United Devices team but it isn't really all that big. Mostly we are into Eccp-109 and of course most of this forum is ruled by SETI.

Our members are all very nice and helpful and will give tons of free computer advice. Also we will push you to the limits of your production capabilities with friendly competitions all the time. I see that DSLR has also started to use similar formats as ours in starting races recently. Races have really push our members to increase their production.

Then we have stats, stats, stats, and more stats. We probably have the best collection of stats sites of any team.
 
Thanx for the reply baldy, well primarily UD and SETI, I have 4 desktops and a laptop, so I can join multiple teams! And all I said to piss off this moderator there was this guy was saying how much my company's tech support sucked, he was like "I wait on hold for 2 f****n hours to talk to those monkeys and idiots" and I straight up called him a jackass, cuz our hold times have NEVER been that long, EVER. And plus, I'm really nice to our customers and always go the extra mile to try to help them. (thats why I was hanging out in their forums in the first place was to help people with DSL problems)

I'm never going back to DSLR again. I started a forum there asking "how do I quit your team to go to anandtech.com?"

LMAO!!

This is probably the mod that deleted my big long post of why I was leaving them, I say this because I put the URL to this forum in the post, and this jerk-off moderator deleted it...

But anyways, I come here in peace, and like I told the peeps at DSLR (or at least tried to but the post got deleted) my original intent of being at DSLR was to help frustrated customers, but some people you just cant get through to...it's like talking to a zoo animal. I can admit when I was wrong, so now that I look back on that incident I shouldnt have called him a jackass, but oh well, I'm here now, and the mods are on a power trip over there and think that they're badazz, SAVE THE DRAMA FOR YO MOMMA, DSLR! But anyways...I'm gonna help anandtech beat the stuffin out of DSLR.

Yes, as expressed in the Rules of Engagement we are allowed, even encouraged, to talk smack.🙂 "Bragging, taunting and the like is highly encouraged. However it is expected that it will be done in the spirit of the competition and there will be no personal attacks made or inferred on any member of the opposing team." So keep the smack talking clean.

If it weren't for the the fact that many DSLR members are visiting Team AnandTech in anticipation of the upcoming Seti Challenge, I doubt anyone would have noticed that you had left.
That may not be entirely correct. A certain DSLR forum seems to suddenly be devoid of posts containing words and phrases, such as: "jackass", "jerk off", "sux", "a-hole" and "(middle finger)".

Hope you and the Team AnandTech Mods have a very pleasant relationship. Wishing you the best in all your future endeavors.

BTW: To everyone at Team AnandTech. The DSLR Star Fire / Team AnandTech race should be a lot of fun and help to move both teams upward in the overall Seti standings. Friendly taunting and trashing is welcomed and expected. 😉
