to clear all doubts about rewards, got to this LINK and login to your Passport to see your reward balance. I think we should see the rewards a day after we are charged on the credit card.

You can still go to the MSN promo link and find 800.com on the listed store list. You can click through to 800.com and the MSN e-shop banner shows up on top? What's up with that? I know "somebody" talked to MSN...but from everything that any normal person can tell...it looks like the deal is active. ?

800.com is NOT listed on the MSN promo site anymore. Just to clarify, the promo with 800.com is EXPIRED; it ended early due to their meeting their quota. If you talk to a MSN rep or a 800.com, they'll tell you the same story.

Oh, now this is really getting to me!!! I purchased a camera with the MSN deal from Ritzcamera. I clicked through when I first started the
check out process but got interrupted and had to purchase a few hours later. Instead of going eshop.msn.com -> Ritzcamera, I went
directly to ritzcamera.com. Guess what: I'm hosed. While the opening page says Ritzcamera.com is a participating merchant, under Terms
and Conditions, I have to click through MSN to get any qualifying purchase.

So even though I bought one camera there by clicking through MSN, the other camera I bought there doesn't qualify.

I think this is totally bogus. Right on the page

http://eshop.msn.com/softcontent/softcontent.aspx?scmId=907

It says

1. Find things to buy. On MSN eShop or any participating store's site

"OR" that's what it says.

You have to go into the terms and conditions to see that they need the click through to get the qualifications. I'm on the live
chat with a CSR now, Victoria T. and she is one nasty person.

<< I agree with culex. Many of us are not that experienced with this promotion, especially when 800.com was a rewards member prior to this weekend. With the sole exception of the popup menu, which is easily missed, there is no way for a consumer to know from the merchants site whether they are participating in the program. As I understand it one can click to the merchant from ANY MSN page, not just the rewards page to get the reward. I myself think there should be a different button reserved for merchants participaitng in the program. Just my 2c >>

I am sorry, but I do not see how anyone could not know which stores are participating in the promotion. MSN's description of the program was clear and accurate. The list of participating stores is right on the promotion page under the list entitled "PARTICIPATING STORES". MSN clearly states that not all stores were participating in the Holiday Reward promotion and the told you how to tell which ones were...

1. Start shopping at MSN eShop. All products from participating stores are eligible for the MSN Holiday Reward (listed at right). To find participating products while shopping on MSN look for the label Get your MSN Holiday Reward .

2. Use Passport Express Purchase
When you make a purchase at the store's site, you must click the Passport Express Purchase button. If you don't have a Passport wallet, you can get one on the spot -- it's easy and free. If you want to know more about Passport, click here.

3. Watch your reward grow
MSN will automatically track your purchases and send you email updates on the amount of your reward -- and how much more you need to spend to get another $20, up to a maximum of $100.

4. Get your reward
In January, MSN will send you an email with a link to a page where you can tell us where you'd like us to mail your reward. Then, MSN will send you a check!

There is nothing vague or misleading here and the rules are VERY clear.

I disagree a bit here. It says here that:

1. "On MSN eShop OR any participating merchant's site"

1. As I've stated in a post above, I took that to mean that as long as I was shopping
at a participating merchant, that I'd qualify. In my case, I did start at MSN and clicked through to a site but in the process, I wanted to check other
sites for prices and such so I opened a few more windows. I subsequently went directly to the site I bought from in one window instead
of clicking through.

I started at MSN. I bought from a participating merchant using MSN passport express purchase. I even have a print out with the
'Signout.net' symbol. I should qualify.
