Follow-up on my earlier post about CloneCD--I just copied my Star Wars Racer with no problems and I was able play the game on the copied disc!!I am a happy man--just ask my wife.

What I did -- redeemed the certificates that Amazon sent me. They were then sitting in my basket for use. I then went and purchased item, at checkout it said I had the $45 in gift certificates to use. I then enetered the Amazon code. Had no problem....

As for what you can purchase, per my email from Amazon that was with the certificate number: Gift certificates must be redeemed through our Web site, http://www.amazon.com, toward the purchase of products listed in Amazon.com's online store and sold by Amazon.com.

No metion of toys or anything else...

 
Scorpi0: I know they say limit one per customer but you can just open a new account in another family member's name if you want to be legal. Just use ecount or get a web certificate, both services gives you a unique credit card number if that family member doesn't have a credit card.
 
god darn it number 2..i also paid 140 for this drive last month..for some season, when i try to burn mp3 onto a disc using adaptec easy cd 4, i got the blue screen of death, and ended making up 2 coaster..any one have the same problem or know how to fix it???

If you look on the rankings, this is #1, but two is a reciever, three is a palm and four is kodak digital camera. I bet anything selling over 20 units could be the #1 item. 😉
 
There's a reason that receiver is #2 - it was priced at $60 (93% off) early. BTW, the list is for ranking in the Electronics section only.

I was checking my order status and cruisin' around their site and I swear it said "item is out of stock" when I clicked it.
Now it says " ships within 24 to 48 hours " again........

Excellent deal, got one.. I sure hope it's not a "pricing error". Was that receiver deal a pricing error? I wonder if anyone's orders for the receiver went thru. If anyone ordered one, lemme know.

Amazon needs to get their Sh!t together and honor the prices they post on their site.

CloneCD only supports one type of writing for the YAMAHA drives instead of two writing formats.

Because of this, you can't make backups of all the cd's just some of them...if u r lucky.

As I'm building a new pc, I thought this'd be a great drive to throw in it esp. at the price. But it is definitely out of stock. Can't order it now.

The Homad Jukebox is always high up on the electronics sales ranking. Are that many people really buying this? Sure it kicks ass, but thats a damn expensive item to be on the top selling list.
