I've never encountered such a thing...you can afford a Q6600 and the internet...but not a little bit of heat?

I don't think you would understand it. It is part of being a student here. If you aren't doing it tough you aren't doin it right. And plus once you become aclimatised its not such a big deal. And if it is really cold then

10C every day would be a dream for me, instead I get 35- 40C during the summer >_>
Maybe you people need to spend more time out in the "cold"?

It can be harsh! My trucks, during the coldest months have a tough time. My rigs in sig just love it.:)

I have been thinking quite seriously about hooking up some sort of hose array to feed cold air from outside into my case. A couple of decent sized fans and some flexi tubing would be great. Maybe I should just reverse a bathroom extractor fan?

What is your humidity like there? To much moisture = :(. Figure on a filter system with that fan/hose combo.

Usually not to bad aye. Never really gets close to 100%. I checked yesterday and it was about 65% inside. But that is relative which really means crap all.

Don't!

I used exactly such a fan to exhaust my first build through a dryer hose out the window, during a hot California summer. Loud and inefficient!

Nothing beats computer case fans. I now use arrays of ten case fans in various windows to exhause our house, summer nights. Newegg's cheapest 80mm is $1.29 in bulk, free shipping. I've learned my lesson.

You want something smaller and more efficient, that can move a lot of air, and make the same racket as a bathroom extractor fan? Check this out:

We have to keep a bit lower than that here. Like around 40 ~ 45 %. Any higher, windows start fogging up. Puters dont like to much moisture.

Computers like the cold but not moisture. Too bad that or we would all keep our computers in fridges/freezers. They especially don't like liquids even beer :(
