I'm starting to run into where the hardware is not supported with the new OS (Windows 7 x64)

I have two printers:
1) LaserJet 1200
2) Epson inkjet

Both are USB based printers. I currently use a ZONET model 2112. The Print server utility will not run under Win7x64.

I'm running three desktops (two are XP, one is Win7 x64). The laptop is a macbook.

Given that, can someone please recommend a print server that has proven to work under windows 7, most importantly, there is support for it.

This is my 2nd product that became obsolete under windows 7, which is frustrating.

Thanks for your input

One option might be using CUPS under Linux on either a standalone PC or virtualized under Windows 7. One of my clients has a room full of printers running off an eBox server which includes CUPS as part of its distro.

Good luck!

thanks for the feedback.

I much prefer a small unit, similarly to the one I have now. Windows 7 has been available for a few months now, just wanted to get a recommendation of what is compatible with it.

Thanks

I know this post isn't useful for finding a new print server, but why don't you just buy one new printer that has an internal NIC? Fewer devices to mess with, supports everything relatively recent, etc...?
