I've been working on a new website and I am at the point where I am allowing people to use it. The site is still in a closed beta phase, and it will probably be that way for a while. At this point I will be looking for bugs as well as feedback on what we can to do make it even more awesome than it already is. The site IS fully functional right now, and things will be added to it to make it more fun for everyone. I have a lot of ideas. 🙂
What is the site about?
I am very interested in creating games or "game-like experiences" while simultaneously providing some useful function or service. This website is my first attempt at a very simplistic game in terms of the user gaining credits and improving their ranking on the site by completing "missions" while also providing a very useful free service to anyone who goes to the site. The site is simple to understand so it is something that a lot of people can enjoy.
The ideal test user will:
- Be active in at least one online community, social network, blog etc. (i.e. you post daily SOMEWHERE).
- Have a Google AdSense account, or a be willing to sign up for one if you don't have one.
- Be smart enough to use a website that is self-explanatory, but does not "hand hold".
- Not be a douchebag. Seriously...nobody likes douchebags!
