Seeking backup solution

I have scads of RAW digital images to back up, I was wondering what the best program was, free or pay, that can back them up with the least margin of error, and maybe be able to sync my camera's memory cards when I pop them in the reader.

The long shot though, is: Is there a program that can split up files into DVD size chunks for easier burning?

Thanks for any help!

Cobian. It can split archive to specified sizes and I think it does CRC checking. Dunno about auto syncing when you pop in the card though. You could possibly script it, or use some custom command via autoplay.
