Seeking a recommendation on a video card change

I was given a really nice pair of headphones for Christmas, and as such this has kinda forced me to finally get a nice sound card to fully enjoy these cans. However, I have absolutely no room on my board for another card due to the 5770 x2 setup I have in there. I'm willing to break this up to be able to fit the sound card in there.

I guess what I need to know is what single card would give me AT LEAST the same gaming power as the Crossfire'd 5770s? I don't necessarily need something more powerful, but I don't want to downgrade at all.

If there are any no-brainer GPU deals going on right now that would affect my decision, that would be excellent as well. Thanks!

Depends. Are you a big tweaker? Then get the 6950 ($300) and flash it to a 6970 ($370). If not, a GTX 570 will do quite nicely at $350ish, and you can overclock that bad boy to 580 speeds.

5870 is also rolling around for rockbottom, $200ish prices.

Thank you. At first glance I can't find a 5870 for much lower than $280... I'd probably jump on one if I could find one for $200.

And no, not a OC/tweaker at all. I'm stock boy.
 
Well, yeah. A 570 or a 5870 will do you well, you could almost get the performance with a 6870, or get a 6950 and improve it a little..
