Seeking a list of MPI applications

I've already got mpiBLAST and MPI Povray ready to use in my research, but I'm having trouble finding interesting other ones. I've searched in newsgroup but I couldn't find much. Any suggestions? I just need two more.

Unfortunately, this isn't a good place to look for MPI developers. We're more BOINC and other grid-computing system users. Probably the best place I know where you might get an answer is http://www.mersenneforum.org/ But that's not guaranteed, either.

You don't want to consider other APIs? I tried MPI, and I hate it like the plague! :| Then again, it was the C interface.

Well, my research isn't really concerned with MPI, but more of a load balancing technique that fits easily into the only two MPI applications I've seen (blast and povray). I think I am just going to stick with what I have now, and write some parallel mandelbrot set routines that will fit the purpose of my research.

Message Passing Interface (MPI) is a way for parallel applications on a distributed memory system to communicate.

Don't feel too bad. I work with MSMQ every day and I didn't quite know what MPI is.

It means that in a multi-processor system each processor has its own memory.
