See Spot run

The first ones on the list are all the people who kicked me thinking it was funny to see how I kept my balance.

Welcome to the interweb? isn't that thing like 100 interweb years old?

No this is a new one, video was released yesterday. The one you're thinking of is the larger version seen in company with the new ones near the end of the video. That robot was called Big Dog. This one is called Spot. Big Dog used a gasoline-powered generator, and it sounds like Spot is using batteries. He's also a lot smaller, obviously.

I want to be the first on my block to own one. Actually, to own 20. Then, I take over the block. BWahahahaha!

They'll turn on you, man. These aren't goats. These are _metal_ goats with brains.

This sure is a step down from their last two prototypes.

interesting changes to the leg design. they are simplifying the segments and looks like they are prioritizing speed over ability to reverse.

anyone want to figure out what acronym the army uses to designate this as a M.U.L.E?

Spot looks to be closer to an animal design than Big Dog did. Spot definitely moves faster than Big Dog.

Big Dog wins in the creepiness factor because its legs can extend outwards, so on recovering from losing its balance it looks more life like to me.

Overall, it looks like Spot is an improvement on Big Dog to me.
